Booking & Cancellation Terms and Conditions

All transactions are deemed to be business to business. By booking with us, it is deemed you have read and understood the terms and conditions below and agree to be bound by them and wish to undertake a Signature Academy Training course.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

1. Course Booking & Terms of Payment

All course types, workshops, 1-1, shadow days, VTCT Level 4/5 conversions, mentor days, coaching services must be booked through Signature Academy. Upon securing a service, course, equipment by means of verbal, email, social media an email or detailed on invoice will be sent to the client confirming the product or the course, date, times with a course secure fee request or full payment, which ever may be as per our terms. Payment of booking fee or full payment is deemed the client has read and agrees to the terms and conditions laid out in this document sent at time of client request to secure the service or product in the invoice sent. When part or full payment is made these terms are bound by both parties.

The company reserves the right to decline any application for enrolment or withdraw a client from a training course prior or during post application and booking if our Code of Ethics and Student Conduct are not followed. No refunds will be given.

We are unable to reserve a place for any persons onto a course until either full payment or the course booking fee is paid in the time scale detailed on the invoice and confirmation by client has been send by email.

1.1 Upon course booking with deposit, full payment or finance, the client will undertake and commit to fully complete pre course study/assignment (if applicable) in paper or online form relating to any course or service.

1.2 A non-refundable course secure fee from £500 to £2500 (subject to course and details provided) must be paid at the time of booking unless stated differently on course booking invoice (subject to course type and equipment required. All courses require full payment for pre-study if applicable to be posted or access to online platform.

1.3 The contractually binding fee is stated in the price list, web site or the agreed bespoke price, on an email and is current at the time of application. Delay of 48 hours or more to paying the fee to secure the trainee place will result in the place being offered to another trainee unless otherwise agreed with Signature Academy.

1.4 Delay in paying the non-refundable fee may result in a time when the course, service or product incurring a price increase.

1.5 Payments can be made by bank transfer; through our payment platform stripe or application Paypal a 2% processing fee will be added on the invoice and identified as ‘enrolment additional fee’.

1.6 Enrolling on a course does not guarantee a pass or a qualification. We have the right to non-pass, withdraw if standards and safety are not achieved or the trainee does not attend the course:

1.7 Signature Academy is not responsible for any finance application result. This application is sent to the relevant approved finance broker and further contact is then between client and broker. If approved the finance broker has a relationship with the said client. Signature Academy is an intermediary for both parties at time of introduction only and is not affiliated nor receive any commission or bonus for this introduction.

1.8 Beauty kits are required for specific VTCT ITEC courses, and these are detailed on each course outline and our web site. These costs will be included in the booking invoice. Permanent Makeup related courses are provided with a full kit as part of the pricing. Kit is only provided when full payment has been received. No refunds are provided for the equipment and course. Where applicable online training will be provided to familiarise the client with the equipment and use for mat practice only until academy attendance for full practical training. We do not charge for the extra online training once full payment has been received.

1.9 Full payment is required at time of booking for any course under the fee of £1000 ie VTCT Conversion qualification programs, Lift Removal course, Dermaplaning and other short, accredited courses below this value. These courses/trainings are non-refundable irrespective if commenced or non attendance.

1.10 Signature Academy Ltd reserves the right to re-allocate the course place to another trainee if full fees are not paid in time as stated on booking invoice. The option to move a course date must be put in writing 4 weeks prior to course date. Change of date can only be used once with an admin fee of £50 applicable, after which any rescheduling will be considered a cancellation. All outstanding invoices will remain due, irrespective of the number of working days’ notice given for the cancellation.

1.11 Full payment of selected courses must be paid 4 weeks prior or 30 days whichever is provided on booking invoice. Some courses may require full payment 6 weeks prior to course date, subject to equipment being ordered, booked out trainers to attend onsite training, any hotel fees that need to be paid if customer onsite training has been booked. Non payment will result in the date being offered to another client and no refunds at any time.

1.12 Course fees that have been agreed over a period of weeks will require a deposit between £750-£2000 and any outstanding balance over 3-4 months, whichever may be applicable and agreed. Should payment fail to go through, we will notify the payee by email or phone. Only two attempts will be made to take payment in over a one-week period, unless the client pays by other means. Thereafter, their course will be paused, and the outstanding full amount must be paid to continue the course.

1.13 Inhouse payment plans will specify the deposit required to take advantage of this no interest service. Not all courses have this option. Not apply to equipment and products. Please enquire.

1.14 Any invoices not paid or monies owed on payment plan beyond payment due date or outstanding will be passed to credit management to recover. It is your responsibility to ensure you can make payments prior to booking your course. We are not party to any finance you make take with Fusion finance (on our website). Undertaking to acquire finance through them in between both parties only. Please ensure when you enroll that you are in a financial position to fulfil your payment obligations.

1.15 Course secure fees are non-refundable unless Signature Academy Ltd cancels the course (does not include postponing a course, in which case the course secure fee remains non-refundable).

1.16 We are unable to allow clients to commence a training course unless course fees have been paid for in full at the correct time stated on the booking invoice or earlier.

1.17 We may charge a late fee on late payments

If we are unable to collect any payment you owe us we charge interest on the overdue amount at the rate of 4% a year above the Bank of England base rate from time to time. This interest accrues daily from the due date until the date of actual payment of the overdue amount, whether before or after judgment. You pay us the interest together with any overdue amount.

1.18 We pass on increases in vat (if applicable)

If the rate of VAT changes between your order date and the date we supply the service, we will, where applicable, adjust the rate of VAT that you pay, unless you have already paid in full before the change in the rate of VAT takes effect.

1.19 Where courses require pre-requisite learning, reading or research your training begins from the date that your manual is dispatched. In this instance any fees paid will be non-refundable under our cancellation terms. All manuals and equipment remain the property of Signature Academy until full payment has been made.

1.20 Pre study is compulsory to commence to attend the practical training. The client agrees to undertake the prestudy and fully complete all modules within the content. Assessing of which will be by a multiple choice online prior to attending or on the first day of training, verbal testing or will be included in any online digital prestudy. If not fully completed Signature Academy have the right to reschedule the client on the next available training date. A fee will be incurred to the client for non-completion.

1.21 If any changes are made to the Client’s requirements at any time while the training course is in progress, or within 14 days of the beginning of the course, any applicable supplementary charges and the terms of delivery shall be adjusted, and a fee incurred.

1.22 The client will attend all relevant training days, complete model case study period in their own environment on licensed or registered premises or have notified their local council they are proceeding with your model case study period.

1.23 Courses cannot be re-taken. Support is provided through monthly set mentor days to address any specific client needs. The client will provide evidence they have implemented the additional support provided.

1.24 During model case study period the client agrees to continue to dedicate time to practicing skills to progress.

1.25 All training courses and VTCT Permanent Makeup must be completed within 6 months from last date of training day unless specified otherwise. This includes all case study models by 5 months (not applicable to the Beauty and Aesthetics Package). This allows 1 month for final completion of summative practical assessments at the academy. Inclusive of all assignments, online examinations and portfolio construction compiled and marked ahead of the completion date (last minute marking requests cannot be completed). An additional £395 is required to request the external assessor to attend on another date for the client) The client must plan and allow sufficient assignment submission time for marking. Signature Academy will not be held liable for late assignment work submissions not being ready for final assessment with external examiner and a non-pass awarded.

1.26 It is not the responsibility of Signature Academy to provide laptops, ipads for the client to complete their online exams, the client must provide their own equipment. The client must manage their own schedule to complete the ‘case study models’, ‘assignments’ in the duration stated for the course. Action plans are provided as a guide only. Guidance is provided prior to training by email, zoom, telephone on planning for success.

1.27 If the client feels they cannot complete the PMU course at 6 months, Signature Academy Ltd must be notified by written notice or email at least 6 weeks prior to completion date. An extra month will be provided to allow for completion. If it is due to a learning need an additional mentor session may be provided or an online recorded tuition. The trainer will advise at time. If due to inconsistent model case study practice or incomplete course attendance an additional charge of £495 is payable to extend one month to completion. Inconsistent model practice demonstrates lack of ‘consistent’ skill development by the client. The client is advised to manage/course case study models and assessment models prior or during so that momentum of practice is maintained. We provide action points on this pre and post course attendance.

1.28 The client must provide weekly evidence by WhatsApp or email they have been proactive in practicing the course skill and progressing with case study models where it is applicable to the course. If skills are inconsistent due to client not practicing and non-accountability near to course completion date, we Signature Academy have the right to cancel the client relationship with no refunds.

1.29 a. The client will behave in a manner acceptable whilst on the premises of Signature Academy Ltd and always follow the instructions of the trainer delivering the training course.

1.30 The client will not make any negative or defamatory comment or statement verbally in class, on social media or otherwise regarding Signature Academy Ltd training courses, products, or trainers (which for the avoidance of doubt shall terminate this contract with immediate effect with no refund payable to the client and legal actions may be taken against the client).

1.31 Should the client/trainee attend a course hosted at Signature Academy Ltd premises for a third-party trainer/company our involvement ceases at point of introduction. The third-party trainer will include their own terms and conditions. Signature Academy Ltd is not responsible for the course content, delivery, and successful completion of such courses under third party.

1.32 All VTCT and ITEC named ‘conversion’ qualifications are a conversion only program. No training is provided with a conversion. It is the responsibility of the qualified candidate to confirm they meet all the prerequisites detailed by Signature Academy with evidence of certification, infection control certification, and before and after treatments qualified in prior to enrolling with Signature Academy. Signature Academy will seek confirmation from the respective training company to confirm that the evidence is correct. If there is reason to dispute the evidence provided the client will be refused access to the conversion course.

1.33 Should Signature Academy identify during the theory and practical assessment period of a VTCT ‘conversion’ client that the level of standard is below par to meet the prerequisites for the qualification, the following will be offered to the said candidate 1. To book skill gap training with Signature on a 121 or workshop, mentor day basis over an agreed period to bring the candidate’s skills to meet the underpinning theory or practical skills needed to complete the Conversion qualification. A fee will be charged for that training of £500 for one day. 2. Return to their original training provider to gain the skill gaps required. The candidate will be responsible for any costs incurred with that provider. Signature Academy has no liability in that outcome. If option’2’ is chosen, the candidate must be demonstrate the skills and standards are aligned with the VTCT ranges within the assessment. No additional time will be provided by Signature Academy unless option 1. is chosen and only then the time scale will be detailed at that point.

1.34 If the trainee/client is a trainer or training company an IP copyright disclosure must be signed and adhered to for the course they attended. Signature Academy has the right to refuse to teach for any professional reason.

2. VTCT & ITEC Course, Assessment Fees

2.1 Course and assessment fees are payable whether you pass a particular assessment or receive a certificate. Refunds will not be given to clients who fail assessments or are not competent to receive a certificate.

2.1.a Clients must attend 90% of the VTCT and ITEC beauty to aesthetic courses or will be removed from the course. Courses includes induction, online delivery, attendance in person for theory and practicals, including practical assessments, and all course work completed to remain on the course.

21.b A client will be removed from a course if the above is not achieved 2.1.a. No refunds, part refunds or a transfer to another course.

2.2 Clients that have gone beyond the specified completed date will be given the option to re-sit practical assessment days at the next available opportunity if there are spaces available to resit that assessment, with a fee of £150* for Permanent Makeup/Microblading/Scalp Micropigmentation/Medical tattooing. An additional fee for Beauty Course online exams from £15-£45 per resit. Resit fees must be paid prior to examinations

2.3 Prior to sitting an assessment clients must be registered for assessments with the appropriate awarding body if applicable, (Signature Academy Ltd is VTCT ITEC and will provide this service). The fee may be included in the training or an additional fee to register will be required)

2.4 VTCT is a separate company to Signature Academy Ltd and they dictate the structure of the VTCT ITEC course modules and board assessments. Signature Academy Ltd cannot be held responsible for the VTCT processes and how they choose to assess their qualifications including increasing the number of assessment days.

2.5 Signature Academy non external body courses (accredited/cpd) will distribute certifications on the day of successful completion or within 30 days. Signature Academy Ltd will not be held liable for distribution of external body certifications i.e., VTCT or ITEC.

2.6 Where some assessments are carried out by an awarding body, there may be a delay in receiving the assessment result especially in the case of written papers for­­ marking. Signature Academy will not be held liable for this delay.

2.7 Clients will be also awarded an additional certificate of achievement by Signature Academy if they achieve more 100% in their foundation written and fully completed all practical assessments and model case study evidence alongside the VTCT qualification.

2.8 Clients that do not attend 95% of the practical and online training, whichever may be the case will not be allowed to complete the course.

2.9 Students cannot exchange or continue their studies to another course due to their non attendance on an existing training course.

3. Cancellation, Postpone and Refunds

For security will do not accept cancellations by phone, text or social media. Should you wish to cancel or postpone a training course, you must provide in writing or by email to info@signatureacademy.co.uk we will then call you to check your ID. We do not accept cancellations during non-working hours, evenings, weekends or holidays.

3.1 Companies may substitute an alternative employee/delegate for no extra charge, however there may be an additional registration and exam fee to pay if the previous candidate has already been registered with VTCT or ITEC

3.3 Signature Academy Ltd reserves the right to cancel, re-schedule or vary any course or part of a course due to insufficient numbers, reasons beyond control or changes in regulations.

3.4 Should Signature Academy Ltd totally cancel a type of course (as opposed to just reschedule or postpone) we will refund any money paid for the course.

3.5 Where Signature Academy Ltd cancels a training course we will not be held liable for transportation, accommodation, loss of earnings or any other associated costs.

3.6 Signature Academy Ltd shall not be held liable for non-performance or delay of performance which is due to any cause beyond its reasonable control including (without limitation) inclement weather, fire, flood, industrial action, explosions and government regulations and/or orders.

3.7 Course cancellation due to commence within 30 days of the start date of the course will be liable for the full course fees, equipment purchased and VAT.

3.8 In the case of a client non-attendance or leaving the course once it is underway, the client is not entitled to a refund.

3.9 In the case of the late rescheduling of a course, we have the right to charge 10% of course fee per reschedule.

3.10 Cancellations must be submitted in writing and dated.

3.11 Due to unforeseen circumstances, inclement weather, road accidents and other force majeure, it may be necessary to cancel, postpone or suspend all or part of any course. Although every effort will be made to ensure all courses are run, in the unlikely event that the company is forced to cancel any course we will endeavor to reschedule at a mutually agreeable time. Signature Academy will not be held responsible for additional expenses incurred by clients as a result of cancellations for reasons that are beyond our control.

3.12 If you are prone to illness, suffer repeated illness or have an on-going medical complaint, which may affect your ability to attend a course, we recommend you take out adequate insurance to cover for any loss. Signature Academy Ltd will make every effort to accommodate your requirements where possible.

3.13 In the event that covid lockdown is enforced locally or across the UK training and assessments may be placed on hold until the government provides clearance to recommence. The duration of the course will be extended to allow learners their full period for completion if needed. Training will be continued online through virtual tutoring until such a time practical attendance can be resumed.

3.14 Signature Academy will not be held responsible for any personal injury (including injury, illness or disease resulting in death), and/or loss of or damage to any property other than to the extent such loss, damage or injury is due to the negligence of Signature Academy Limited, its employees or contractors acting in the performance of their duties, or fraudulent misrepresentation the company

3.15 Signature Academy Ltd will not be held liable for any self-inflicted needle stick injuries.

3.16 Where a learner/trainee/client is disruptive in class, breaches health and safety guidelines or appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol or endangers themselves or others, we reserve the right to ask that candidate to leave the premises. Candidates that are asked to leave the course for the above reasons will not be entitled to a refund.

3.17 Signature Academy Ltd courses where there is a disruptive delegate, the company cannot be held liable for the consequences of their actions on other individuals, although Signature Academy will take the necessary action [as outlined above] in removing them from the course.

3.18 Signature Academy Ltd does not accept responsibility or any liability for delegates belongings whilst they are on the course and other visits. This includes personal equipment and vehicles which are brought onto the premises entirely at the owner’s risk.

3.19 Signature Academy Ltd reserve the right to ask any trainee/learner/client to leave the course if they arrive excessively late or miss any part of the course. Full learning and being able to pass the course will be detrimental as a result of that time missed. We will not be able to allocate time in the course to recap over content that will have already been delivered. No refunds possible and an additional fee may be charged to provide the period absent in additional learning on another date.

3.20 Clients that are unable to attend the training course due to contracting COVID-19 will be able to postpone their course on the provision of a doctor’s letter. The next available place will be provided but cannot be guaranteed immediately. No fees shall be refunded.

3.21 Signature Academy Ltd follows all correct government guidelines for covid-19 but will not be held liable for any client contracting COVID 19 during their time training.

4. Force Majeure

4.1 The Seller ‘Signature Academy ltd’ shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, lock outs, accidents, war, fire, breakdown of plant or machinery or shortage or unavailability of raw materials from a natural source of supply, and the Seller shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of its obligations. If the delay persists for such time as the Seller considers unreasonable, it may without liability on its part, terminate the contract or any part of it.

5. Insurance

5.1 The client is covered by Signature Insurance policy to work on models during the training at the academy or mentor days. The Company’s indemnity insurance is provided by Holistic Insurance. Upon successful completion of any course, the client is responsible to hold their own indemnity insurance against malpractice. We suggest that the client arranges insurance, so they can practice immediately after the course. The client is responsible for the setup and cost of public liability insurance. Details can be provided for application.

6. Equipment & Kits Liability

6.1 EU/UK Safe and tested equipment and pigments are supplied as part of various starter kits and courses. It is recommended that students use these throughout the training including case studies and final assessments for safety, liability and insurance purposes. Failure to do so may result in your insurance cover being void and non-certification achieved.

6.2 Equipment becomes the property of the learner once the 1. full fee is paid, 2. Equipment has been purchased in time for course 3. course commenced. Faulty equipment within the one-year warranty will be returned to the manufacturer for review and repair. We cannot give a timescale and Signature Academy Ltd will endeavor to rectify any issues as quickly as possible. In some circumstances we can provide a loan equipment where possible but may not be identical to the machine provided.

6.3 Signature Academy Ltd will accept no liability of any nature incurred or accepted by the Seller in respect of any representation made by the Seller, or on its behalf, to the Buyer, or to any party acting on its behalf, prior to the making of this contract where such representations were made or given in relation to:

6.3a the correspondence of the Goods with any description or sample.

6.3b the quality of the Goods; or

6.3c the fitness of the Goods for any purpose

6.3d No liability of any nature shall be accepted by the Seller to the Buyer in respect of any express term of this contract where such term relates in any way to:

6.3e the correspondence of the Goods with any description.

6.3f the quality of the Goods; or

6.3g the fitness of the Goods for any purpose whatsoever

6.3h Except where the Buyer deals as a consumer all other warranties, conditions or terms relating to fitness for purpose, quality or condition of the Goods, whether express or implied by statute or common law or otherwise are hereby excluded from the contract to the fullest extent permitted by law

6.4 For the avoidance of doubt the Seller will not accept any claim for consequential or financial loss of any kind however caused. After inspection upon delivery by the Buyer, there will be no refund on products except if they are faulty. Products are sold as seen.

6.5 Warranty of goods defective the seller will replace defective goods free of charge within the manufacturer’s warranty period of one year, if acceptable from the date of delivery, subject to:

6.5.1 the buyer notifies the seller in writing immediately upon the defect becoming apparent

6.5.2 the defect being due to faulty design, materials or labour

7. Data Protection

7.1 Signature Academy Ltd are committed to following all GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679) (security and protection of the personal information, how we process and to provide a compliant and consistent approach to data protection.

7.2 Full information regarding how we use your data can be provided upon request. We can confirm we do not share, sell or provide to third parties. Your data is solely for contact between company and client, to arrange training and deliver products. We like to maintain a relationship with our client’s long term and to keep up to date with our company changes, events and offers. You may request that we delete your data at any time by emailing info@signatureacademy.co.uk and unsubscribing to any emails.

8. Intellectual Property Rights.

8.1 The client acknowledges that All rights reserved. No part of Signature Academy Ltd publications may be reproduced, distributed, or transmitted in any form or by any means, including photocopying, recording, or other electronic or mechanical methods, without the prior written permission of the publisher, except in the case of brief quotations embodied in critical reviews and certain other non-commercial uses permitted by copyright law.

9. Complaints Procedure

9.1 Signature Academy Ltd is committed to providing exceptional service. When something is not to the client’s satisfaction, we need you tell us about it.

9.2 Complaints during the course should be made to the trainer in the first instance. If you are unhappy with the outcome of our services or a trainer then please follow our company complaints procedure in 9.3.

9.3 During and after completion of the course, all complaints should adhere to the complaint’s procedure detailed below. Dissatisfaction of the course/service must be made in writing within 7 days of the course/service completion. We will investigate your complaint and give our considered response to it within 21 days of the complaint being received and you agree to: –

9.4 Adhere to the correct complaint’s procedure. If you breach clause 9.5 and publish (or cause to be published) any defamatory statements about Signature Academy Ltd and its associate trainers to third parties through social media or otherwise publications and verbal, then we then we reserve the right to claim damages against the client, in defamation proceedings before the court for such sum as we are advised to claim by our legal advisors.

9.5 You agree not to publish (or cause the publication of) your complaint any more widely whether orally to third persons, in writing to third persons or to the world at large through the use of the internet.

9.6 Awarding bodies will not accept complaints directly unless you have followed Signature complaints process. You have a right to complain and have it investigated internally. In first instance raise your complaint with a member of staff responsible for the service. If the matter is not resolved promptly or fully by them then Marc Little, Training Support will work with the client to reach a satisfactory resolution as detailed above if none of the T&C’s are breached or client removal from course.

What will happen next?

1. The Marc Little will send you a letter acknowledging receipt of your complaint within 7 working days of receiving it, enclosing a copy of this procedure.

2. The Marc Little will then investigate your complaint. This will normally involve reviewing your complaint with others involved.

3. Marc Little will send you a written reply to your complaint, including suggestions for resolving the matter, with 21 working days or earlier of sending you the acknowledgement letter.

Failure to follow this process will result in your complaint closed. We aim to please and do our best to accommodate you where possible. Your success is always our success.

10. Certificate of Completion

10.1 A certificate of completion will only be issued to the client by Signature Academy Ltd upon successful completion. This includes completed case studies to the standard required and includes health, safety and infection control performance, model case study completion, competency in the multiple-choice examination or online assessment for specific courses and practical assessments at the academy. Final competency feedback is provided post practical assessment and VTCT ITEC courses through external verifier assessing your theory and practical work.

11. Disclaimer

11.1 Attendance as a client onto a training course, even with a potential formal qualification certificate on completion, does not provide any guarantee of workmanship, performance, quality or status of the delegate during future endeavours.

11.2 All information provided in training is given in good faith to be used and interpreted as delivered. Signature Academy Ltd will not be held responsible for actions taken by the client, any other individual or organisation as a result of the information provided during the training course.

11.3 Completion of a training course does not guarantee any income for the delegate or a particular level of skill or qualification.

11.4 Payment and attendance of a Signature training course does not guarantee certification. Signature Academy Ltd will only release practitioners into the industry who have demonstrated their ability to carry out the skills trained safely to the high standard required without trainer supervision. A copy of the assessment criteria is provided at training and the VTCT assessment book if applicable. Feedback is provided weekly to clients that forward their most recent before and after work and questions.

12. Support

12.1 Signature Academy Ltd support for clients post training:

This includes one group refresh/mentoring day at the academy during the course period. Access to Signature Academy facebook support group for shared experiences. (Excludes conversion qualifications)

12.2 post-training online support is available for all courses for one year after course completion. We can support by phone, via email or to arrange meetings at the training academy.

12.3 Client learners must not contact our trainers or staff personally either by personal phones, home addresses, e-mails, or social network sites. However, our staff can be contacted via our business e-mails or on our office phone number 07980578252.

12.4 post-training support is available between Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm. We endeavor to reply within 24 hours but not always possible. There is limited support available over the weekends. Excludes evenings. Please see times above. However, we will try to assist where possible if of an urgent nature.

12.5 The mentor session included as part of the client permanent makeup course are for skills building related to the course attended. These are not on a one-to-one basis. (Excludes conversion qualifications)

12.6 Permanent makeup mentor sessions run from 10am to 3pm. Must be booked in advance with a £50 refundable deposit.

12.7 Feedback of work assignments and pictures must be sent on a Friday via WhatsApp or email. This is our feedback day for marking. Responses will be at the earliest opportunity for the trainer. Please plan in advance for any challenging assignment so we can assist you in the right amount of time. In some cases, the platform WhatsApp may be used. All forms of communication are noted, and a copy or recording will be kept on file.

12.9 In the first instance for general questions we ask clients to refer to their learner manual or prestudy and Facebook/Whastsapp Support page. The client will find the community can also offer a different perspective to the enquiry.

We get inundated with questions that have been covered in training and are readily available within the client’s training documentation.

13. General

13.1 Trainers reserve the right to ask students to provide additional evidence to complete a written, oral exam and/or case studies. We aim to keep the standards high and maintain a high pass mark.

13.2 Lost certificates can be replaced. Admin fee is £40 to cover printing, postage and admin. Payment is made at time of ordering and the certificate may mention it is a duplicate (not original)

13.3 We reserve the right to amend our terms and conditions, product content, prices at any time to reflect the business costs. Previous prices quoted may be honoured depending on the duration from when it was provided.

Discounts only apply to the dates detailed. Previous discounts online or quoted are not honored if outside the expiry date

13.4 We pride ourselves on the support and customer service provided. We operate an equality and diversity policy here at Signature Academy Ltd. We do not tolerate any abuse, bullying, sexual, discrimination, ageism, or racism of any type. Our policy clearly states that this will be addressed immediately and may involve removal from course with no refund.

13.5 Signature Academy Ltd will endeavor to find models for the learner clients to work on unless otherwise specified. However, ‘x’ number of models cannot be guaranteed, model attendance cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, client learner may share a model with another learner through this process so that practice is achieved.

13.6 Signature Academy Ltd has no responsibility to produce models. On some courses there may be no models. We do our best to encourage models to attend the academy but there is no set model guarantees.

13.7 Client learners are encouraged to also source their own models for the training course.

13.8 Signature Academy Ltd will not be held liable for models that fail to show.

13.8 Signature Academy Ltd accepts no responsibility for the purchasing of a device that is not considered compliant by the regional authority. Legislations differ between councils. Signature offer a range of approved machines.

13.8 Client learners that bring their own devices and needles must be compliant, purchased from a reputation wholesale, fully pat tested and from the EU and UK.

13.9 Signature Academy Ltd accepts no liability of the device and needles the client has brought to the course if faulty, unsafe, not suitable for the delivery of training, no suitable for the client usage, the client cannot progress with the device. We suggest the client learner speaks with their insurance to ensure they are covered with that particular machine through the course they are attending in first instance. No guarantees on the progress and success of a client qualifying can be provided if the device is not proving suitable. Additional training fee may be charged to cover loss of booked training days. Signature Academy provides a range of cost-effective machines offered within the Signature Academy training programs.

13.10 Signature Academy Ltd cannot be held liable, accountable, or responsible for products that are being resold if belonging to a different brand than the range of Signature Academy Machines sold.

13.11 Client learners are not permitted to give out their personal details to clients/models/trainers of Signature Academy Ltd or solicit business away from Signature Academy Ltd that they have been introduced to through training with Signature Academy Ltd. We find this extremely serious, and trainees will be pursued legally if found to be doing this.
