This in-person training has been expertly designed to give you the skills, confidence, and certification you need to specialise in this transformative treatment.
Prerequisites: Entry into this course requires a VTCT Level 4 Micropigmentation and VTCT Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology. Equivalent awarding body with OFQUAL qualification will be considered. If you need to convert to these, we can support you with a fast-track programme.
Framework: Home study online 4-6 weeks prior to course. 3 days practical training, 1 day practical examination and theory examination, machine* and pigment kit included, training manual, includes VTCT ITEC registration, examination and certification fees.

Overview. A 3-day practical course to learn everything you require to become a paramedical areola artist. In brief:
- How to create a 3D areola with different needles and techniques for all clients including gender-affirming post-surgery.
- How to improve compromised skin following procedures such as a breast uplift, breast reduction.
- Anatomy of the breast and compromised
- How to blend scars and skin grafts seamlessly into surrounding skin to improve the appearance or restore areas of compromised skin (scars) with camouflage and MCA needling.
- Understand the different breast surgeries
- How to camouflage radiation markers
- How to use skin boosters on radiation burn scars
- To carry out preliminary consultation with empathy and understanding whilst determining the best course of treatment

All our courses are insurable with Holistic Therapy Services (Marc) [link here] an excellent insurer based on our 16 years of experience. However, we advise conducting your own due diligence before registering with any insurance company, as the ultimate responsibility lies with you. As a VTCT ITEC private academy, most insurers will cover our regulated and Ofqual-recognised courses. For CPD courses, which offer certificates of achievement or attendance, consult your insurance provider before booking any training.
The theoretical components of this training are completed online via our dedicated training portal. Once you book your course and payment has been received in full, we will send you login details to access and complete your home study modules.
The course includes 30 modules, all of which must be completed at the latest by 7 days prior to the start of your online induction and in person training. To give yourself enough time to absorb the material, we recommend completing these modules a minimum of 1 month prior to your training date as you may need to return to parts of the online to refresh prior to practical training. The completion of the theoretical learning is compulsory prior to the training at academy.

If applicable, long hair must be neatly tied back away from face and shoulders. We recommend leaving valuables, such as jewellery, at home.

All Signature trainers are qualified and still work within the industry to maintain state of art skills. All are qualified in teaching and assessing.
